Important Notice About Oak Trees

The time of year has come where the beetles known to spread the disease called oak wilt will begin to show up. The disease can kill a healthy oak tree inside of a year and there is no good cure currently available. The beetles are attracted to sap on fresh wounds of oak trees. To help prevent this disease we recommend not trimming your oak trees between april and june when the beetles go away again.
